See the real exchange rate before any markup. The starting point for every HansePay quote.
Mid-market rates shown for reference. Actual transfer rates depend on HansePay's quoted price at the time of trade.
The mid-market rate is the rate at which banks trade with each other, the closest thing to a "true" price for any currency pair. When you send money through your bank, you almost never see this rate. Instead, you see a worse rate, with the bank's spread already baked in. That spread is real cost, just disguised as the exchange rate.
HansePay starts from the mid-market rate and adds a clearly disclosed markup on top. The number you see in this converter is the same number we start from when quoting your trade.
